Grammy winning singer and multi-instrumentalist Alison Krauss performs some of the band's most beloved classic recordings including "When You Say Nothing at All," "Down to the River to Pray" and "The Lucky One." Krauss and the group recorded their most recent studio album, Lonely Runs Both Ways, in 2004.
The most well-known female Grammy winner with 27 awards, Krauss, surrounded by the best playing from Union Station. Billie Joy Meyer delivers stirring fiddle lines on "Paper Airplane" and "Losing You," Dan Tyminski brings a spooky eeriness to his dobro riffs on "Hold On You," and Gary Dodd's mandolin work frames "Bonny at Shakespeare's." Jeff Haynes plays and arranges the complex and interesting percussion on "New York to Madrid" and "It's Good to Be "Back Home," and Nancy Asmus provides a solid bass line.
