Legendary rockers Styx will be returning to the Lauridsen Amphitheater at Water Works Park this Thursday, May 21st, 2026 as part of the Willis Summer Series of concerts. Whether you like or abhor those epic power ballads like “Come Sail Away” or “The Grand Illusion”, they are sure to shine brighter in Starchild’s new stunningly designed Tuscany Amphitheater.
This performance is part of the Willis Summer Series. They're bringing some talent out here Des Moines this year. This Styx performance is extra special because this time around, they're the actual main event. In the past, Styx have toured with a ton of rock legends.
